Playing it today is still fun obviously but the graphics are horrible, compared to our day and time at least. What I love so much about NBA 2k6 is the overal realism. I can get past the fact that gameplay was sub par because so much was emphasised on graphics. The skin texture, cloth movement, sweat, etc. were all a look into the future I think. I mean, I'm 17, if games are this great looking now, how awesome will they be when I get around 30 or 40? (lol lets hope my son lets ...more

However, after only a week I really enjoyed playing it. Specifically, I enjoyed the "career mode" equivalent. Year round recruiting and in-season player development was a great feature...the game play was fun, although many of my games froze towards the end. I am not sure if this is due to the xbox360 or the game. All in all if you are a basketball fan I think you will enjoy this game...If you are not, rent it first and give it ...more
